Pocahodas is recrystallized marble with a mineral composition of 54% dolomite and 46% calcite. This mix of colors is due to iron oxides.
The quarry that produces the Pocahodas has been characterized as an unusual geological formation since the color of the marble is not found anywhere else in the Argolid only in the specific hill of the quarry.
It is said to be originated from the Aegean Sea. It could be the top of Atlantis!
