In the land where Medicine was born in antiquity near the Asclepieion of Epidaurus, Lygourio light is produced. Our quarry has been working since 1985 while the production of this marble has began in about 1970.
Lygourio Light is a limestone with fragments of small fossils. It was formed 34 million years ago during the Paleozoic period of the Innostic century.
